Total Footballis a turn-based strategy game that puts you in control of a football team. With a variety of modes available, you can trade players, build your team, and take to the pitch to score and win. The game offers a quick play mode where you can pick a team and opposition from any available teams or choose at random. In VS mode, you can compete locally with a friend by taking turns picking teams and building your formations. The career mode lets you take total control of a team, customize its name, kit, and emblem/logo, and trade players with teams both in and out of your league. The cup mode lets you create your tournament, your way, and fight your way to the end to take the trophy. The game also offers variable game/turn length settings, and player generation customization, where you can fully customize how all the players' appearances will be generated.
